Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4

The Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 was just launched last Sunday. It was a week ago when the regular Big Brother season ended at the Quirino Grandstand and now the Pinoy Big Brother house is open once again for a teen edition. There are fifteen housemates, seven boys and eight girls from all walks of life. On Sunday nine housemates entered the Big Brother house, seven boys and two girls. On the following day, the last batch of housemates for the newest season were introduced during the first episode of PBB Teen Uber 2012 to complete the set of PBB Teen Edition 4.

The set of teen housemates will stay inside of the Big Brother house for eight weeks. They were introduced by Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo and the new host, actor-dancer, John Prats. John Prats was one of the Big Brother housemates in the celebrity edition of 2006 where he finished second.

It is still too early to root for anyone in the house but the twins from Bacolod are kind of fun to watch. They are bubbly and they give me a good laugh every time I watch the show.

Charice’s Araneta Concert

Charice did a concert in Manila last month and it was a big hit. The concert tickets were sold out despite critics predictions that the show would flop. Manila is one of the cities in her 10 city Infinity Asian tour. After Manila, she was scheduled to perform at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel. According to the reports that I have read, the concert stage was simple and there were no special effects or stunts involved, just Charice’s incredible voice. I am much prefer watching that kind of concert with no distractions. Charice has a new look and I like it but I still prefer the long hair.

Biggel, 3rd Big Placer

Biggel was recently crowned as the Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited third big placer. Even though he just finished third, to his fans like me, he is the big winner. He received a 500,000 peso cash prize from Ace Hardware and an appliance showcase. He was welcomed to the outside world by his grandparents, sister and fans. Now that he is out of the Big Brother house, I am looking forward to his upcoming projects. He looks like he will have a career in show business because he has many talents. He is especially good at beatboxing. He can dance and he can act as well. He showcased his talents while he was still inside the Big Brother house while he was performing their tasks.

Toys & Games

I am looking for educational toys for my nieces and nephew. Their birthdays are still a long way off but I have already started window shopping for their birthday presents. There is a prestigious selection of learning games at The Source to choose from with amazing prices. I haven’t tried shopping from that site yet but will give it a try one of these days. They also have computer stuff and I will have my hubby look at that site for my computer hardware.

Tin Got Evicted

nullI could not be happier that Tin has now been finally evicted from the Pinoy Big Brother house. The power of the one and 24 hour voting system kicked her out. All of the remaining six housemates were nominated last week and she got the lowest number of votes. I did not expect the result to be that way because every time she gets nominated, she always gets saved but the voting system was different this time. It used to be a voting system in which you can vote 30 times a day from one sim card. Thanks to the power of one, meaning one vote per sim card, she got sent packing. Biggel got the highest number of votes. Thanks to everyone who voted for him.

24 Hours Voting for the Nominees

nullLast week’s set of nominees were Biggel, Carlo, Slater and Divine. The voting system was also different from the normal voting system in which you can vote 30 times a day from one sim card. This time, you could only vote for one nominee from one sim card.

I prefer this kind of voting system. You can really find out who the people are rooting for. To make a long story short, Biggel got the highest vote count among the four nominees. He topped Carlo, Slater and Divine who are from a well off family. Had the Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited management not implemented this kind of voting system, Slater or Divine might have gotten the highest number of votes.

Carlo got evicted and was greeted by his cousin and ex-housemates Wendy, Diane and Deniese.

Paco is now back as an official housemate. After being evicted and became a houseplayer, the public voted him to be a wild card.

We are now in the last few days before the Big Night. The Big Night will be on the 31st of March at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. There is no nomination this week, all of the six remaining housemates are up for voting. The six remaining housemates are Biggel, Paco, Pamu, Divine, Slater and Tin. Only four of them can make it to the Big Night because I think the two housemates who get the lowest number of votes will be evicted.

Hacienda Themed Show

The seven remaining housemates of the Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited edition together with the house player, Paco and the latest evicted housemate, Seiichi are currently living in the hacienda. The two ex-housemates of the previous Pinoy Big Brother seasons, Baron and Beauty, are also there for tasks. The remaining housemates, the house player and the latest evicted housemate are playing the role of the hacienda workers while Baron and Beauty are the owners. The workers call them Don and Doña.

I don’t like how the owners treat their workers but I think that’s what they have been told to do in order to bring out the inner most of the housemates attitude. The Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited edition has by far has the most twists that I have ever seen. They have presented a lot of very challenging tasks. Whoever the winner is this season, should be very proud of and I am hoping that it will be Biggel. He deserves it. He has been through a lot inside the house and that includes being backstabbed, degraded and underestimated by his fellow housemates. BIGGEL FOR THE WIN!
