I Want Another Digital Camera

My hubby bought me a new digital camera last spring just before my trip to the Philippines. It was on sale for $60. It has more pixels than the last one we had that cost four times as much. It is a good camera but has some minor issues. I don’t know if it is the camera that has some issues or me. Probably me because I am still trying to get used to it. Anyway, I am thinking about buying a new digital camera if I can get a good deal. I am looking for samsung digital cameras this time.

Cell Phones with No Contracts

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Would you like to cut your cell phone bill in half?  You can do that if you switch to Straight Talk.  There are no contracts, no surprise bills or credit checks needed to get everything you need in a cell phone.  With Straight Talk, you get great nationwide coverage, excellent reception and connectivity every time you call a friend or your family.  Also, they use only trusted phone manufacturers like LG, Motorola, Kyocera, Nokia and Samsung.

Straight Talk’s “All You Need Plan” meets the needs of heavy phone users with 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts and 30 MB of web data for only $45 a month.  There are no activation, reactivation or termination fees.  They also have an international long distance service available.  I will take a look at that service because I am planning to drop my current long distance plan.   If I can save money on my long distance calls to the Philippines and Germany with Straight Talk, I will drop my current plan without hesitation.  I am a very budget conscious shopper and that frugality always carries over to the services that we want and need, phone service is no exception.  My mom always warned me about signing contracts.  mom knows best, especially when it comes to cell phones.

PC Problems?

My income and my main mode of communication with my family is my computer. It is at the center of my daily activity. When my computer has problems, it can mess me up for days or weeks at a time. We have a guy here locally that gives us pretty good tech support but sometimes it takes him a while to get things fixed. Even though I have antivirus protection, I got a virus a while back that caused me to have a very slow PC.

I recently found out about the KillSlow iYogi antivirus movement. They are a team of thousands of tech experts who can be immediately reached at the toll free number 1-877-769-5115 to help you with any problems you may have with your PC. They offer a free diagnosis to alert you any problems you may have. If you need help getting rid of viruses or your PC is just running slow, they can help you with PC optimization so that you can get your computer running like new. If you have any questions about their new service or how they can help you deal with your computer problems, be sure to give them a call.

Pay-As-You-Go Cell Phone Plans

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Net10 for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I was still in the Philippines, I had a cell phone but never had to have a contract with a cell phone company.  All we had to do there was buy the amount of minutes we needed and it never cost us anything for the cell phone service.  It was really easy and an affordable way to do it.  You only paid for the minutes you used.

When I came here to the US, I found out that all the cell phone companies made you sign a contract and charged you monthly fees whether you used the phone or not.  My hubby had a cell phone that he used primarily for business purposes but since he worked out of his home, he really did not need use that much.  He had all kinds of trouble with the cell phone companies and their goofy contracts.

About the time that he got ready to retire, a new company, Tracfone, was finally able to see the Light and come up with a pay per minute plan like we had in the Philippines.  We changed over to the Tracfone for a while, but now, since we also have a mobile phone in our car, we no longer have the need for much cell phone service.

I recently heard about the new NET10 service that is available through the Tracfone company.  We still have the cell phone that we bought to use with Tracfone before so I think I will check to see if it will work if I become a real NET10 customer. For more information, feel free to check them out on Facebook and Twitter.

PS3 Bundle

ps3Are you a gamer? My hubby and I love to play computer games. We have played games that mostly we can run on our computer but I think it would be great to have something like a Playstation 3 game console. I have heard that some of the games are really incredible. I just passed my birthday but Christmas will be coming up soon. Maybe I can suggest this ps3 bundle to my hubby as a Christmas gift for both of us.
