My hubby’s son called us recently and told us that his car had been rear ended by a taxi cab in Minneapolis recently. The taxi cab driver was not a US citizen and tried to flee the scene but his son was able to block his attempt to run before he could get away. Then the cab driver called the police and told them that his son had pulled a knife on the driver so when the police arrived, his son was immediately put into handcuffs. Fortunately, there were enough witnesses to the accident to set the police straight on what had happened before things got completely out of hand. As it turned out, the taxi cab driver had an open warrant for his arrest so hopefully things will get straightened out.
The car that my hubby’s son is driving belonged to us before we sold it to him and he is still paying us for it. This isn’t the first time his son has had to get the car repaired. About a year ago, someone had smashed the rear window to break into the car while it was parked in a downtown parking ramp. Fortunately, his son has a friend that own several car dealerships so he has a reliable and trustworthy place where he can get the car reliably fixed.
My hubby has had to get windshields replaced in some of his previous cars and if it is not done right water can leak in and cause all sorts of problems.
